This section provides step-by-step instructions for the most common tasks you'll perform with Openn for Inspection.
How to start your first home open
Setting up your inspection in OFI is simple and flexible.
-
Navigate to the Property: Open the property for which you are holding an inspection.
-
Locate the Action Panel: In the redesigned right-hand panel, you will see a new "Openn for inspection" section.
-
Click "Invite attendees": This button is your gateway to all registration methods. If this is your first time, you may see a "Start inviting attendees" button in the main tab area.
-
Choose Your Invitation Method: A modal window will appear, presenting you with four options:
-
SMS Invite: Select this to send a check-in link via text message. Simply enter the attendee's phone number and click "Send".
-
QR Code: Choose this option to generate a unique QR code. You can either display it on a screen at the property or download the image to print and place on signage. Attendees scan the code to check themselves in.
-
Self Check-in: This provides a public URL to the check-in form. Open this link in a new tab on a tablet or laptop at the inspection for a dedicated check-in station.
-
Manual Check-in: Select this to enter an attendee's details yourself. This is useful if a visitor is unable to use the other methods. Fill in the mandatory fields and add any private agent notes.
-
-
Welcome Your Attendees: As attendees check in, their names will instantly populate the "Attendees" tab, giving you a real-time view of your visitors.
